Semantic component of a character is relevant to the meaning of a word which is recorded by the character. It is an important research idea for the modern cognitive science. Study shows that in terms of animals and plants Sawndip, Zhuang people learn the semantic component of Chinese characters systematically, and they are very clear about the categorical meaning of the semantic component. Sawndip has been created on the basis of Chinese characters, at the same time it has been reflecting fully the creativity of Zhuang people in the course of being used. On the one hand, Zhuang people have added the relative semantic component to some borrowing Chinese characters which did not have one. This phenomenon has shown that Zhuang people extremely emphasize the generic feature of things in the practice of cognition. On the other hand, to record some Zhuang words of animals and plants, Sawndip have the semantic components to be different from Chinese characters. Comparing with Han, this situation has shown that Zhuang people have different perceptions of the categories and characteristics of those animals and plants. The Zhuang peopleā€™s creative use of semantic component of Sawndip, it is an effective interpretation of ā€œthe Zhuang Localisationā€

The Unearthed Literature and the Culture of Health Preservation Teaching

The unearthed literature provided rich and precious materials to the culture of health preservation teaching. The thinking ofĀ ā€œcorrespondence between man and natureā€ and opposition and mutual basement of Yinyang and imitation combined with performance were the dominant ideas and important component parts of the culture of health preservation teaching. Students can have a better understanding of the Chinese traditional culture and inheritance on traditional culture in order to go into it by learning the culture of health preservation

Chinese noun-quantity compound word is a special structural style in Chinese compound words. Based on the previous research, this paper attempts to define the six standards of Chinese noun-quantity compound word, which is more comprehensive and perfect

Overview of the Record Slips on the ā€œList of Burial Clothingā€ During the Three Kingdoms, The Jin Dynasties and Southern and Northern Dynasties

ā€œList of burial clothing (č”£ē‰©ē–)ā€ refers to the list of clothing buried in tombs which are of the same strain as ā€œQian Ce (遣ē–)ā€, the list of burial articles in tombs. ā€œList of burial clothingā€ during the Three Kingdoms, two Jins and Southern and Northern Dynasties refers to the list of clothing buried in tombs during the Three Kingdoms, two Jins and Southern and Northern Dynasties. Currently, the scale of unearthed tombs of the Three Kingdoms, two Jins and Southern and Northern Dynasties through archaeological excavations is quite small and the number of records slips of the ā€œlist of burial clothingā€ is small. The unearthed areas scatter. Academic research on it is also in dispersion. This article introduces the 26 record slips of the list of burial clothing during that period of time from two aspects: The unearthing situation and the research situation in order to provide research clues and materials for the further research of the development and change from ā€œQian Ceā€ to the Sui and Tang paper list of burial clothing unearthed in Tulufan and the sorting of related literature

Summarize Publications of Written Bamboo and Silk Books During Last More Than Ten Years

Written bamboo and silk books are the important unearthed literature and have great research value for social science and natural science. These materialsā€™ reorganization is a basic work for a series of research. We should first understand main materials, key materials; especially understand new materials published in recent years because there are a lot of unearthed documents which often are fragmented. This paper is divided into three parts: written bamboo and silk of the Chu State in the Warring States, written bamboo of the Qin State and Qin dynasty and written bamboo and silk of two Han dynasties. This paper introduces the important written bamboo and silk published in last more than ten years

Meme Theory and Chinese-Writing Teaching in TCFL

    Get PDF
Meme theory is a new theory in the field of pragmatics, which applied to the study of Chinese-WritingĀ TeachingĀ inĀ TCFL. The transmittingĀ ofĀ meme has four stages, namely the assimilation, the retention, the expression, the transmission. Because of the different context, Language memes mainly produce memeticĀ genotypeĀ and memetic phenotype in the process of reproduction and transmission. This paperĀ takes International students studying Chinese writing teaching as anĀ example, and discusses the relationship between meme theory and Chinese-writing teaching in TCFL. If teachers taught Chinese writing according to the law of reproduction and transmission of the language memes, do helpĀ improve the learnersā€™ Chinesewriting

Enhanced specific immune responses by CpG DNA in mice immunized with recombinant hepatitis B surface antigen and HB vaccine

Abstract

Background

Hepatitis B vaccine adjuvant, alum, is generally used for vaccination although it does not stimulate Th1 immunity and 10% of the population has low or no antibody response. Efforts have been continued to find more efficient vaccine adjuvants for better antibody response as well as stimulation of Th1 immunity.

Methods

CpG DNA was used as an adjuvant for recombinant HBsAg to immunize 6- to 8-week-old female BALB/c mice with or without alum for different dosages. The production of HBsAb, CD80 and CD86 from dendritic cells, and cytokines IL-10, IL12, etc., were analyzed and compared for the performance of immunization.

Results

5-20 Ī¼g CpG DNA had the best co-stimulation effect of HBsAb serum conversion for mice vaccinated with recombinant expressed HBsAg. The mice vaccinated with recombinant 20 Ī¼g CpG DNA and regular vaccine (containing alum adjuvant) had the highest concentration of antibody production. IL-12b, IL-12a and IL10 mRNA reached to the peak level between 3 and 6 hours after the CpG DNA induction in splenocytes. The expression levels of CD80 and CD86 leucocyte surface molecules were increased with 20 Ī¼g CpG DNA alone or with 20 Ī¼g CpG DNA and 4 Ī¼g HBsAg.

Conclusions

Our results confirmed the adjuvant effect of CpG DNA for HBsAg in the mouse model. The increase of IL10 and IL12 production suggested the involvement of Th1 cell activation. The activation of CD80 and CD86 molecules by CpG-ODN might be part of the mechanism of T/B cells coordination and the enhancement of recombinant HBsAg induced immune response.</p

Stress and crack monitoring during plasma spraying of TBC

Two types of process monitoring techniques are compared and discussed in this presentation. The first one is in-situ curvature monitoring, by which it was possible to evaluate the stress evolution during plasma spraying and separately identify the sources of stresses, i.e., the quenching stress and thermal stress as shown in Fig.1 (a). By changing the spraying parameters, it was possible to prepare specimens at largely different deposition temperatures, which resulted in significantly different levels of residual stresses. Also, it was found that the mechanical properties of the obtained YSZ coatings such as the elastic modulus are strongly dependent on the deposition temperature as shown in Fig.1 (b). Four-point bending test was conducted to these coatings, which clearly showed that the compressive residual stress effectively offset the applied tensile stress to initiate cracking in the YSZ coatings. Another method is based on acoustic emission (AE). Non-contacting laser AE sensors as shown in Fig.2 were used to detect cracking in YSZ coatings during spraying. Due to the intensive noise from the plasma spraying environment, extensive signal processing techniques have been developed to eliminate the noise in the frequency and time domains by using digital filtering and multi-threshold techniques. The obtained results so far indicate that the through thickness temperature gradient during spraying plays a major role in the formation of deep vertically segmentation cracks
